Hungry Goats Lawn Care started as a high school summer gig for owner Phillip Tidwell. Back then, it was called KP Lawn Care — just two friends mowing grass, making cash, and enjoying the grind. But what began as a way to hang out and earn money quickly sparked a deeper passion in Phillip: a love for clean cuts, sharp lines, and making lawns look elite.

By the age of 19, Phillip became a firefighter for the City of LaGrange, but lawn care never left his hands. With his off-duty time, he kept mowing — and one yard turned into two, two into three, and before long, the side hustle was growing fast.

In 2025, Phillip officially shifted gears and began treating lawn care not just as extra income, but as a full-blown business. The name changed, but the mindset didn’t. Hungry Goats is now a symbol of relentless work ethic, precision cuts, and unmatched customer care. And as the company keeps growing, so does the skill, dedication, and fire behind every job.
